Inova Payroll to Discontinue Evolution Payroll Software for Existing Clients

What is Happening With Inova Payroll and Evolution Software?

On December 12, 2025, Inova Payroll entered into an agreement to be acquired by UKG. Since then, Inova Payroll has been attempting to migrate customers using the Evolution Payroll platform, also known as Evolution HCM, over to UKG Ready.

For those clients unwilling to move, recently the company has begun sending announcements on plans to sunset services by September 30, 2026. For any of Inova’s clients still using the Evolution Payroll software (developed by Asure Software), this means you need to find an alternative provider of the software before Inova discontinues service.
